A series of one-day professional development opportunities (with professional growth points available) offered in several locations throughout Indiana that focus on building awareness, understanding, and the skills needed to be an innovative 21st century leader in today’s schools and districts. A typical agenda includes introductions, a keynote, lunch, professional learning planning and goals work session, and digital tool swap. Our most recent series, “Facilitating Change in K-12 Districts,” explored best practices for planning and evaluating professional learning experiences (Guskey, SAMR), tips and strategies for leading with clarity, methods for setting clear goals and managing complex change, bringing the right people to the table (aligning resources - not just money, but people), and tools for improving workflow.
Indiana educators are invited to take advantage of outstanding, free professional learning through Five-Star Academy’s facilitated online courses. As part of our eLearning Strategic Partnership, each Indiana school district in the state is entitled to four (4) FREE seats to each online course. Participants receive 40 Professional Growth Points (PGPs) upon the completion of each course. Click on each course title below to review the course description, see dates, and register today:
